Delivering paid components
Learn how to share paid components with customers so installs are tracked correctly in your Framer Marketplace dashboard.
This article is for creators selling paid components on the Framer Marketplace.
How install tracking works
Installs are only counted when a customer installs your component using its Component URL.
If you share a remix link, the customer creates a separate copy of the component. These copies are not connected to your Marketplace listing, so installs from remix links are not tracked.
Best practices for delivering paid components
Share the Component URL after purchase
Once your component is published, you can find its Component URL in the Marketplace listing. Send this link to customers after their purchase so they install the component directly from Framer.
Avoid remix links
Remix links create independent copies that are not linked to your original component. Even if a customer uses the component extensively, those installs will not appear in your metrics.
Include a short installation guide
Help customers install your component correctly by explaining how to install the component using the Component URL directly in Framer. You can include this guide in the purchase confirmation email or in your delivery message so customers always follow the correct steps.
If you’re sharing the Component URL but still see fewer installs than sales, contact creators@framer.com and we’ll help you investigate.
