Subscription types and automatic renewals

Framer offers monthly and annual subscription options for personal plans and only annual subscriptions for business plans. Monthly subscriptions are billed at the start of the subscription and recur on the same day each month, including charges for additional editors and usage. Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for the entire year and automatically renew on their anniversary date. Additional charges for editors or usage on annual plans are billed monthly. Editor charges

Each workspace on Framer is billed based on its editors. The cost per editor is outlined on the pricing page and varies depending on the highest-tier site plan in the workspace and the billing cycle. Editors can be added anytime through the invite panel in your project or workspace settings.

Note that added editors are billed monthly for easier management, regardless of the initial subscription type. Viewers are not charged, but upgrading a viewer to an editor will incur charges. Learn more about roles and permissions here.

Viewing and managing plans and invoices

To view your current plan, go to the “Plans” tab in your project or workspace settings. You can see all purchased plans and invoices for your team here. For detailed invoice information, visit the “Invoices” tab in your workspace settings. Enterprise teams with customized billing can contact Framer directly for invoice inquiries.

Cancellation, downgrades, and refunds

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. To cancel, go to the Plans tab in your site settings and select “Cancel Plan”. After cancellation, your plan benefits remain active until the end of the billing cycle. Learn more about canceling your Framer plans here.

If a plan is downgraded, a credit for the unused portion will be applied to future purchases. Billing and payment processing are handled by Stripe or Paddle.com.

Refunds are generally not provided, except for users in the EU or Turkey, who can request a refund within 14 days of the initial purchase. Learn more in our Refund Policy.
