Why remix count doesn’t match sales

If your template shows more remixes than sales, don’t worry—this is expected behavior in the Framer Marketplace.

In the Framer Marketplace, every time someone duplicates your template, it’s counted as a remix. This includes paid and unpaid copies. There are three common sources of remixes.

Marketplace remixes

After purchasing your template, users often duplicate it to explore variations or repurpose it for new projects. Each duplicate adds to the remix count.

Framer team remixes

The Framer team may duplicate your template during the review or update process. These internal copies also count as remixes, even though they’re not sales.

Multiple user duplicates

Some users make multiple copies of the same template to test ideas, create backups, or version their work. Each duplicate is tracked as a remix.

It’s normal to see more remixes than sales. This doesn’t mean purchases are missing—it just reflects all types of template duplications being tracked under one count.
