Lesson details

To use Framer Analytics, publish your site and open Analytics from the top-left menu or with Option-4. The dashboard starts collecting privacy-friendly site data without extra setup and shows visitors, page views, bounce rate, average session duration, and an interactive chart for the selected period.

Use the date picker and dashboard sections to inspect traffic sources, popular pages, countries, and devices. Select a page or another dimension to add filters, then combine filters to answer a narrower question. You can also open a page’s analytics from the Pages panel.

Ask a the Agent for a 30-day overview when you want a faster reading of the data. Follow up on changes or underperforming pages, and export the results as CSV when needed. Funnels, A/B tests, and tracking IDs extend the workflow to specific journeys and interactions.

Frequently asked questions
Does Framer Analytics require additional setup?

Framer starts collecting analytics for a published site without an extra analytics script. The built-in dashboard is designed with privacy in mind and does not rely on a cookie banner to collect its standard site metrics.

Which metrics appear in the Framer Analytics dashboard?

The dashboard shows visitors, page views, bounce rate, and average session duration for the selected period. It also breaks traffic down by pages, sources, countries, and device types so you can understand how visitors reach and use the site.

How can a the Agent help analyze site performance?

Ask the Agent for an overview of a chosen period, such as the last 30 days. It can create an interactive report, highlight key changes, summarize findings, answer follow-up questions, and export the data as a CSV.

How do I view analytics for one page?

Select a page in the Analytics dashboard to add it as a filter, then add dimensions such as country when you need a narrower view. You can also right-click a page in the Pages panel and choose View Analytics.

What do funnels, A/B tests, and tracking IDs measure?

Funnels measure steps in a visitor journey, such as moving from a landing page to signup. A/B tests compare page versions. Tracking IDs let either tool measure specific interactions, including button clicks or form submissions.
