Legacy plans

Learn what legacy plans are and how pricing, features, and billing are affected after Framer’s October 2025 pricing update.

Plans purchased before October 9, 2025, are considered legacy plans. If you're on a legacy plan, you can continue using it with its existing pricing and features unless you choose to switch to a newer plan.

What are legacy plans?

Legacy plans are any plans that were active before October 9, 2025, when Framer introduced updated pricing and plan structures.

If you subscribed before that date and have remained on the same plan, your subscription is considered a legacy plan.

Will my price change?

No. Your current subscription price remains the same as long as you stay on your existing legacy plan.

This applies to both monthly and yearly billing cycles.

If you:

  • Switch to a different plan.

  • Cancel your subscription.

  • Resubscribe after canceling.

you will be charged according to the pricing shown on the current Pricing page.

Will my features or limits change?

No. Legacy plans retain the features and limits that were included when you originally subscribed.

You can continue using your plan without any changes to its included functionality.

How are editors and locales billed?

Any editors or locales added after October 9, 2025, are billed using the current pricing model.

While your legacy plan pricing remains unchanged, newly added usage-based items follow the latest pricing structure.

Switch to the new pricing

If you'd like to move to the current pricing model:

  1. Open your project's Plans page.

  2. Review the available plans.

  3. Select the plan you'd like to switch to.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the change.

Once you switch to a current plan, you cannot return to your legacy plan.
