The Telegraph is one of the UK’s best-known news brands, reaching millions of readers across its journalism, digital products, and platforms. Alongside its editorial work, The Telegraph’s Commercial Design team creates bespoke digital experiences online for partners, like the film feature for Pressure. Each brief is different, from interactive travel guides and editorial features to immersive brand experiences.

Partner campaigns under The Telegraph’s domain

The Telegraph’s main news site runs on a separate platform, while the Commercial Design team uses Framer to create and publish partner experiences independently. With Framer’s Multi Site rewrite, each campaign can still live directly under the telegraph.co.uk domain.

Framer gives designers the creative freedom to shape every campaign around the brief, from layouts and interactions to content and motion, without changing the infrastructure behind the main Telegraph site. The same team can publish that work themselves, without a developer handoff, helping them ship 80% faster.

Beyond Pressure, the team has built a range of partner experiences in Framer, each shaped around a different brief:

Visit Malta is an interactive guide to Malta, Gozo, and Comino. Readers can choose a location and explore what to see across the three islands with guidance from destination expert Juliet Rix.

The Layers of Grenada follows the ingredients of oil down, the island’s national dish, from farms and spice gardens to the gatherings where families prepare and share it. The feature was created in partnership with Virgin Atlantic Holidays.

Cartier High Jewellery takes readers behind the craft of Cartier’s jewellery, from the artisans and techniques behind each piece to the finished collection and its New Bond Street boutique.

A workflow the design team can own

The team works in Framer from early concepts through production and publishing. Branching gives designers room to explore different directions without affecting live campaigns, while agents help turn those ideas into production-ready work. When a brief changes, the same team can make the update and publish it themselves.

“Branching gives us space to explore, while Framer’s Agents help turn ideas into production-ready work. They take repetitive tasks off our plate, helping us ship faster and focus on the creative details.”
